Anuntat cu surle si trambite acum mai bine de 2 luni, proiectul sn0wbreeze al lui iH8sn0w abia acum pare a se contura intr-un program pe care l-am putea folosi pentru a creea custom ipsw’s in Windows. Desi autorul a anuntat ca saptamana viitoare va lansa prima versiune a programului sau, avand in vedere trecutul si promisiunile facute cu luni in urma sunt cam circumspect ca se va tine de cuvant, dar poate mai important decat atat este daca mai avem nevoie de un asemenea program acum, cand blackra1n/blacksn0w isi fac treaba de minune si sunt mult mai usor de folosit decat sn0wbreeze care oricum la urmatorul firmware update va fi de nefolosit pana nu-l va updata ih8sn0w.
Trebuie totusi sa va spun ca NU functioneaza cu device-urile care au bootrom nou : iPhone 3GS/iPod Touch 3G si nu va rezolva problema aceasta. Fac aceasta atentionare deoarece am observat ca in ultima vreme apar tot felul de teorii in legatura cu anumite “rezolvari” a problemei cu tethered jailbreak, rezolvari care sunt doar vorbe-n vant.

Simple Mode:
Simple Mode does a simple one click process. You simply browse for your IPSW, and it will begin to build! If you select an iPhone IPSW then, sn0wbreeze will ask you if you on an Official Carrier. Answering that question will determine if you are needed to Hacktivate your Device, and fix YouTube + Push.

– Root Partition Size (For cydia applications, default size is 750 MB, Max is 7000MB[6.8GB])
[UNLOCKS]
– This will allow you to use any GSM Carrier that is not permitted by your Carrier.
– Select Blacksn0w for the iPhone 3G/3GS on 5.11.07.
– Select Bootneuter for the iPhone 2G.
[INSTALLERS]
– Cydia is always Installed.
– You have the option to install Rock aside Cydia.
[CUSTOM APPS]
– Install Cydia Applications/debs into the IPSW
– Custom Applications (From Big Boss, ZoTTD, Saurik, or Your own PC!) (Search Through the Repo via a Simple Search!)
[CUSTOM BOOTLOGOS]
– Replace the Apple Logo (On Boot)/Recovery Logo (In Recovery Mode) with your own Image!
– Boot Logos (Must be 320 x 480, Be less than 100KB in size, and have at least one transparent Pixel)
