Dupa cateva zile in care tacerea a fost cuvantul de ordine in gradina celor de la Apple, ieri VP-ul companiei, Phil Schiller a venit cu explicatii privind recentul mass removal din AppStore :
“It came to the point where we were getting customer complaints from women who found the content getting too degrading and objectionable, as well as parents who were upset with what their kids were able to see,” Mr. Schiller said.
“We obviously care about developers, but in the end have to put the needs of the kids and parents
Se pare ca vor sa “protejeze clientii” de un continut sexual explicit insa aplicatia celor de la Sports Illustrated inca exista in AppStore si in mod sigur Apple nu se gandeste sa le scoata pentru ca ar calca pe degetele unor corporatii foarte mare care in mod sigur contribuie foarte mult la bunastarea celor de la Apple. In cazul acesta, desi numarul celor carora le-au fost sterse aplicatiile este destul de mic, unde e dreptatea in viziunea Apple
? Taiem capul alora mai mici iar pestii mari innoata linistiti? Sa fie oare o strategie de protejare a corporatiilor Sports Illustrated, Penthouse & co?Who knows, cert e ca Apple face ce vrea cu AppStore si mai nou a introdus un set de reguli privind acest gen de aplicatii :
