Daca avei un iPhone 3G si ati instalat deja iOS 4.0 pe el atunci probabil ati descoperit urmatoarele 2 lucruri : iOS 4.0 se misca groaznic pe iPhone 3G, practic iPhone 3G a ajuns acum ce era iPhone 2G cu OS 3.0 anul trecut; si faptul ca iPhone 3G nu are anumite functii cum ar fi multitasking, posibilitatea de a seta wallpapers, etc. Un posesor de iPhone 3G i-a trimis lui Steve Jobs in e-mail in care il intreba de ce nu are iPhone 3G posibilitatea de a seta wallpapers si a primit un raspuns scurt, sec si foarte adevarat :
“Hey Steve! I just upgraded my iPhone 3G to iOS 4 and was really looking forward to setting a background on my home screen. Guess that’s not happening, but I’d like to know why.
See, I get why you don’t include multitasking. My iPhone gets pretty hot when certain apps run, couldn’t imagine how multitasking would fry my phone.
But the background thing, I don’t see how that would be memory intensive and/or battery draining. It doesn’t seem like that feature needs to be exclusive to the 3GS and 4G.“

Adevarul este ca iPhone 3G este mult prea slab dotat din punct de vedere hardware pentru a face fata optiunilor din iOS 4.0 si daca ati facut jailbreak telefonului cu includerea multitasking-ului/walpapaerelor atunci sunt sigur ca stiti cum sta treaba insa nu va temeti va voi invata in curand cum sa dezactivati acele optiuni.
