Odata cu lansarea iPad 3G Apple a schimbat vechiul chip GPS cu unul nou mult mai performant si mai rapid, astfel ca foarte multi utilizatori de iPad 3G au observat imediat ca tableta iPad face localizarea mult mai repede decat iPhone 3GS. EI bine iPhone 4 are acelasi chip GPS in el si posesorii de iPhone 4 confirma ca noul chip este mult mai rapid decat cel de pe vechiul 3GS si spre deosebire de cel de pe 3GS functioeaza fara probleme.
I used my Navigon GPS app today for about ten minutes, nothing to long or in depth, but the [iPhone 4] got a lock in seconds and was spot on. I’ll test it tonight going home from work and see how it does but I didn’t notice any issues earlier today, in fact it was a huge leap from the 3GS in terms of reliability and accuracy.
Sincer sa fiu am observat ca odata cu trecerea la iOS 4.0 chiar si GPS-ul de pe iPhone 3GS se misca mai repede, acum localizarea se face aproape instant si deocamdata nu am avut nici un fel de probleme cu el. Probabil noul chip GPS din iPad 3G/iPhone 4 este mai mult decat cel din iPhone 3G/3GS insa e clar ca si iOS 4.0 stie sa lucreze mult mai bine cu GPS-ul.
