Dupa scrisoarea trimisa de un senator american lui Steve Jobs din cauza problemelor cu salvarea locatiilor utilizatorilor de iDevices, acum guvernele din Italia si Franta urmeaza exemplul. 2 agentii guvernamentale din cele 2 state au decis astazi sa chestioneze compania Apple in legatura cu aceasta functie de salvare a datelor. Guvernele celor 2 tari sunt interesate sa afle cum functioneaza mai exact acest serviciu, cine are acces la aceste informatii si daca Apple a distribuit informatiile din acel fisier cu alte companii.
The secretary general of CNIL, Yann Padova, explains that the severity of the situation hinges on whether or not Apple shared location histories with other parties. “In the first case, it is a matter of simply not obtaining the consent of the consumer for the data to be collected,” he comments. “In the second case, if the information is marketed without the knowledge of the consumer, it is much more serious.”
Pentru Apple incepe sa se ingroase gluma avand in vedere ca in momentul de fata aceasta problema este in atentia tuturor si mai rau agentii guvernamentale incep sa chestioneze compania. Revin la ideea relatata astazi si imi mention opinia ca Apple ar putea lansa iOS 4.3.3 sau iOS 4.4 pentru a rezolva aceasta problema.
