Astazi Adobe a lansat o noua versiune a Flash Builder si Flex, ambele fiind compatibile cu iDevice-urile celor de la Apple. Prin adaugarea suportului pentru iOS, Adobe va permite dezvoltatorilor de aplicatii sa isi faca proiectele folosind programele celor de la Adobe si sa le exporte intr-un format acceptat de catre App Store. Versiunea 4.5 a celor doua programe a fost lansata si pe langa iOS ea este compatibila cu platforma BlackBerry OS iar cu Android OS era compatibila de ceva vreme.

Offered standalone or as part of Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium and Master Collection, Flash Builder 4.5 enables the creation of applications that work seamlessly across leading mobile device platforms.

Versiunile 4.5 ale celor 2 aplicatii vor fi incluse in pachetele Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium si Master Collection insa separat poate fi achizitionat Flash Builder Standard pentru 249$ si Premium pentru 699$.
