Pana acum am vazut Siri conectat la tot felul de dispozitive electronice de prin casele utilizatorilor insa acum vine momentul sa vedem calitatile vocale ale asistenului personal implementat de Apple in iOS 5. In clipul video de mai sus avem o demonstratie a modului in care poate fi utilizat Siri pentru a canta o melodie a lui Notorious B.I.G si pentru un robot Siri canta destul de ok. Utilizatorul care a facut clipul video a sincronizat versurile cu melodia astfel ca Siri rosteste cuvintele in exact acelasi moment ca si artistul.
My hack for the Music Hack Day 2011 in London, a 24h Hackathon for all things music. SiriProxy is used to intercept the communication with Apple’s servers. Based on your song request, Notorious Siri then sends your choice of Notorious B.I.G.’s Hypnotize and an a-cappella rendition of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to the device (the latter requiring 4 iPhones 4S). Siri’s speech synthesis is synced to the beat using the timestamps obtained from the Echonest API which were then manually tweaked, to smooth out delays in the text-to-speech engine.
Desigur ca nu exista vreo utilitate practica pentru acest gen de hack-uri insa este o metoda buna de a demonstra lumii intregi ca pentru Siri exista o oarecare utilitate dincolo de cele prezentate deja de catre Apple.
