V-am spus ieri ca Pod2G a intampinat cateva mici probleme in dezvoltarea solutiei de untethered jailbreak pentru iPad 2 si iPhone 4S insa iata ca in cursul serii trecute, cu putin ajutor din partea lui saurik, a reusit sa treaca peste acest obstacol. Pod2G a anuntat pe blogul sau in cursul serii trecute ca a rezolvat problemele legate de cache-ul proces0rului si acum merge mai departe cu testarea solutiei de untethered jailbreak pe terminalul iPhone 4S pe care il are in posesie. Nu se stie ce anume va mai avea de rezolvat insa daca lucrurile merg pe un fagas normal ar trebui sa aflam azi sau maine ca solutia este compatibila cu iPhone 4S si iPad 2.
OK, figured it out, the A5 cache is not a problem anymore. I sorted it out by doing the untether in a single thread and by flushing all the dcache then all the icache in a row at a strategical point of the process. It took me like a hundred of tests to find the key. Hard for the nerves. Another news : I discussed with @saurik today about the launchd boot process, and he’s found one missing piece of the puzzle I needed to have a perfectly stable jailbreak. Solutia de untethered jailbreak dezvoltata de Pod2G ar trebui sa functioneze pe iOS 5/5.0.1 insa este userland asa ca nu veti putea face hacktivare cu ajutorul ei. Pentru a o putea utiliza veti avea nevoie de un terminal deja activat si functional asa ca va recomand sa cautati de pe acum o cartela de activare.
