Ringtone-urile sunt tonurile de apel care sunt rulate de telefon atunci cand sunteti sunat de catre cineva. Pentru iPhone-uri instalarea tonurilor de apel poate fi destul de complicata deoarece implica utilizarea iTunes-ului si modificarea tonurilor de apel astfel incat sistemul de operare sa le recunoasca si sa le ruleze. Pentru rezolvarea acestei probleme vin in ajutor cateva aplicatii din App Store care ne permit sa facem ringtone-uri de pe propriul terminal si multe dintre ele sunt gratuite. Ringtone-urile nu pot fi setate direct din terminal asa ca trebuie copiate in calculator folosind functia file sharing a iTunes si apoi trebuie transferate in sectiune iTunes si sincronizate cu dispozitivul.
