La Mobile World Congress 2012 au fost acordate aseara premiile pentru cele mai bune gadget-uri si tableta iPad 2 a companiei Apple a fost, dupa cum era si firesc, numita cea mai buna tableta a anului 2011. La categoria smartphone-urilor nu putea exista alt invingator decat Samsung Galaxy S II pentru ca niciun alt producator, inclusiv Apple, nu a reusit sa genereze atat de multa atentie pentru un smartphone in anul 2011. iPhone 4S a iesit tarziu, s-a vandut mult mai bine decat Galaxy S II insa in doar doua luni de zile nu a reusit sa impresioneze la fel de bine.
Din punctul meu de vedere alegerile sunt cat se poate de corecte si poate Apple invata ceva de aici si revine la vechiul format de lansari pentru ca iPhone-urile sale au slabe sanse sa mai fie numite dispozitivele anului in conditiile de acum. La Mobile World Congress au fost oferite si premii pentru cele mai bune aplicatii sau pentru cele mai bune strategii de marketing iar mai jos aveti intreaga lista :
