Tweetbot este unul dintre cele mai bune si mai populare utilitare pentru administrarea propriului cont de pe reteaua de socializare Twitter si in cursul serii trecute un update a fost lansat pentru el. Dezvoltatorii au pregatit aplicatia pentru noua tableta iPad impleementand grafica pentru Retina Display-ul noului produs insa asta nu este tot deoarece au fost implementate cateva bug fix-uri, au fost imbunatatite performantele generale ale aplicatiei si au fost implementate cateva modificari la UI-ul versiunii pentru iPhone :

- Streaming (when on WiFI with settings to disable it)
- The “new tweets” sound is now limited to mentions, DM’s, and new tweets via pull-to-refresh
- Double-tapping on the timeline tab button takes you to last read tweet before going to the top
- Improvements to the Tweetmarker service
- Bug fixes related to direct messages
- Version number updated to 2.1 to match iPhone’s version
- Many other bug fixes
