Tableta iPad 3 a fost lansata oficial in 10 tari pe data de 16 martie si 3 milioane de unitati au fost vandute de catre compania americana in toate aceste tari de atunci si pana astazi. Vorbim despre cel mai mare numar de tablete vandute intr-un singur weekend, cifra fiind aproape la fel de mare precum cea inregistrata la lansarea terminalului iPhone 4S. Facand o comparatie cu lansarea iPad 2, Apple a vandut de 3 ori mai multe tablete anul acesta.
Desi foarte multa lume credea ca iPad 3 este doar un esec, iata ca lipsa cozilor din fata magazinelor Apple a fost compensata de un numar extrem de mare de precomenzi online si este foarte probabil sa asistam la un numar record de tablete iPad vandute intr-un singur trimestru fiscal.
