Compania Apple se bazeaza foarte mult pe Japonia cand vine vorba de lansarea noilor sale iDevice-uri, tara fiind intotdeauna inclusa in primul val de lansari. Importanta acordata Japoniei de-a lungul timpului pare sa fi fost de bun augur pentru cei de la Apple deoarece brandul companiei a devenit el mai iubit din “tara soarelui rasare” pentru prima oara in istorie. Intr-un studiu anual facut de catre compania Nikkei BP Consulting Inc. Apple a urcat 10 locuri fata de pozitia ocupata anul trecut iar tableta iPad si inca doua produse ale sale sunt in topurile celor mai indragite produse de catre japonezi.
TOKYO (Nikkei)–Apple Inc. took top honors for the first time in an annual brand evaluation survey of consumers by Nikkei BP Consulting Inc. Scoring 90.5 points out of 100 for total brand power, Apple catapulted from 11th last year. Its iPad tablet computer and two other key products also made the list for the top-40 brands. The Brand Japan 2012 survey had a consumer market category targeting 1,000 brands, as well as a business market category for 500 brands. It was conducted online over November and December of last year. Overall brand power scores were calculated based on the responses of some 52,000 people aged 18 and older.
Interesant este ca Apple a intrecut pentru prima oara compania Google dar si multe alte branduri locale care in mod normal ar fi trebuit sa fie apropiate de inimile consumatorilor japonezi.
