Software Update Killer este un tweak lansat in cursul serii trecute in Cydia si va permite sa ascundeti notificarile privind update-urile OTA disponibile pentru iOS-ul iDevice-urilor voastre. Aceste notificari apar atunci cand un OTA update este disponibil pentru terminalul vostru si nu dispar pana cand faceti acel update insa daca aveti jailbreak atunci probabil nu va grabiti sa faceti acest lucru. Software Update Killer nu este primul tweak de acest gen disponibil in Cydia, insa spre deosebire de alte tweak-uri asemanatoare acesta ascunde chiar si butonul care va permite sa instalati OTA Update-ul din Settings>General>Software Update.
Software Update Killer will:
- Disable the Download and install button in the settings app
- Remove all Badges from within the Settings App
- Remove the Settings App Badge
You will still have the ability to check for an update manually from within the settings app. However the download and install button is disabled for your protection.
Software Update Killer este disponibil gratuit in Cydia dar functioneaza numai pentru iOS 5. Pentru a readuce totul la normal trebuie sa dezinstalati tweak-ul din Cydia.
