  Onion este o aplicatie pentru iOS care a fost lansata chiar ieri in App Store si care permite posesorilor de iDevice-uri sa navigheze anonim pe internet. In mod normal orice persoana care navigheaza pe internet o face un baza propriului IP si este recunoscuta de diverse servere prin cookie-uri, insa Onion ne permite sa navigam folosind proxy-uri puse la dispozitie de compania dezvoltatoare si ne permite sa scapam de cookie-uri. Aplicatia Onion foloseste serverele proxy Tor pentru a va ascunde identitatea, iar toate datele trimise de dispozitivul vostru sunt criptate inainte sa ajunga in serverele ISP-ului pe care il folositi pentru a va conecta la internet.
