Se pare ca toate zvonurile de anul acesta privind lansarea unor MacBook-uri echipate cu Retina Display-uri s-ar putea adeveri in viitorul apropiat, conform celor de la 9to5mac. Design-ul noilor Mac-uri nu va fi o copie a celui de la MacBook Air-uri, insa va imprumuta anumite elemente de la el, dar in esenta vorbim despre noi MacBook Pro-uri care vor fi mult mai subtiri. Se pare ca doar modelele de 15 inch vor fi refacute si unitatile optice vor fi scoase din ele pentru a permite subtierea carcasei, iar butonul de pornire/oprire va fi montat direct in tastatura. In afara subtierii design-ului si modificarii partii care incorporeaza tastatura, noile MacBook Pro-uri vor arata in mare exact la fel precum cele disponibile acum.
Instead, the new 15-inch MacBook Pro is described as being an ultra-thin version of the current MacBook Pro. Basically, the prototype design is a thinner, yet more robust, version of the late-2008 design. It has no tapering like the MacBook Airs. As the MacBook Air pioneered, and the latest Mac mini models have followed, the new 15-inch MacBook Pro loses the optical drive in order to reach Apple’s new standard for notebook thinness. While the new MacBook Pro does not take all of the external design cues from the current MacBook Air, it does adopt the tweaked MacBook Air keyboard design with the power button on the keyboard itself (which replaces the disc eject key). The rest of the design is basically what we are all familiar with: charging and connection ports along the sides, and a spacious glass Multi-Touch trackpad (either same or similar in size to the current MacBook Pro and MacBook Air trackpads based on the cutout present in the prototype unibodies).
Noul Retina Display va aduce o schimbare asemanatoare cu cea pe care am vazut-o atunci cand acest gen de ecrane au fost implementate in iPhone 4 si iPad 3. Practic Apple va dubla, cel mai probabil, rezolutia ecranelor Mac-urilor si va renunta la ideea de modificare a rezolutiei asa cum o stim acum, insa ne va permite sa ajustam calitatea imaginilor de pe ecran folosind un sistem nou. Mac-urile ne vor permite sa alegem rezolutiile: mare, mica, optima, etc, inginerii companiei programand fiecare optiune in parte pentru a afisa imaginile cat se paote de clar pe noile ecrane. In esenta Apple va modifica sistemul clasic de alegere a rezolutiei si va introduce un altul complet nou, insa ramane de vazut cum va fi gandit totul. Ecranele vor fi cu siguranta cele care vor atrage atentia tuturor si daca apreciati Retina Display-ul din iPad si iPhone, atunci il veti iubi pe cel din Mac-uri.

Sources familiar with software strings left behind in OS X Lion 10.7.4 and Mountain Lion betas say that this Retina Display MacBook Pro features multiple Retina resolution modes, so users are able to adjust the sharpness and image sizes to their liking. Unlike Mac display settings of today, these Retina Display settings will not be marked with numbers/resolution sizes, but with descriptions such as big, small, or optimal, according to these software-based findings.
La final aflam ca USB 3.0 va ajunge in sfarsit in Mac-urile companiei Apple si vorbim aici despre viteze mai mari de transfer prin USB si de componente mult mai eficiente din punct de vedere energetic. USB 3.0 atinge teoretic viteze de transfer de pana la 80 MBs intre un calculator si un periferic compatibil, insa totul tine de componente. Pe langa cele mentionate mai sus avem procesoare din seria Ivy Bridge si placi grafice Nvidia GT650M, deci performante mai bune si din nou un consum de energie mult mai eficient.
Desigur ca deocamdata toate acestea sunt doar speculatii, insa in vara ar trebui sa avem Mac-urile disponibile in magazinul online al companiei Apple, iar totul ar urma sa poata fi achizitionat la aceleasi preturi ca si pana acum.
