Cand traia, Steve Jobs i-a avertizat pe cei de la Samsung sa nu copieze tehnologiile companiei Apple si accentul a fost pus de el pe un brevet de inventie destul de important pentru iOS. Vorbesc despre brevetul de inventie pentru sistemul care opreste scroll-ul unei pagini si efectul generat de pagina atunci cand ajungem la sfarsitul ei si incercam sa facem scroll. Acel rubber band effect(pe care il aveti prezentat in clipul video de mai su), asa cum l-a numit Steve Jobs, era foarte important pentru fostul CEO Apple si le-a spus foarte clar celor de la Samsung ca nu trebuie sa il copieze, dar a vorbit degeaba.

Steve Jobs a discutat despre aceasta problema cu reprezentanti ai Samsung care aparent ar fi inteles problema si de la respectarea cerintei companiei Apple au trecut la o copiere fara rusine. Steve Jobs probabil se astepta la asa ceva de la Samsung si probabil a fost foarte furios cand a aflat ce au facut asiaticii, insa asta nu l-a oprit din a continua sa le fie partener si sa le plateasca miliarde de dolari pentru componente.
