Apple este o companie cu produse premium care sunt promovate ca atare in lumea intreaga si desigur ca ele se adreseaza unui anumit grup de consumatori. Un studiu recent facut in Marea Britanie dezvaluie faptul ca majoritatea fanilor companiei Apple au varste de peste 35 de ani si acest lucru este perfect normal. Avand in vedere ca produsele Apple sunt scumpe, nu oricine si le poate permite, iar in general persoanele de peste 35 de ani au in job stabil si indeajuns de multi bani pentru a cumpara produse care de multe ori costa cat o masina ieftina.
According to the company’s BrandIndex, since mid-July 2011, Apple’s biggest supporters are consumers 35 years and older. Meanwhile, the younger age group of 18 to 34 — once the demographic most smitten with Apple — has trended downward since then.
“Now that adults 35+ have a higher perception of Apple, it may make sense that the ‘Genius’ ads were airing during the Olympics, where the prime time audience is easily over 35 years old,” said YouGov in a blog post. “It appears that the 35+ demographic, which includes [Baby] Boomers 50 and over, may need more product hand-holding than the younger group — hence the Genius [ads].”
Desi produsele companiei sunt prefecte pentru orice fel de consumatori, se pare ca majoritatea celor care iubesc brandul au peste 35 de ani, insa asta nu afecteaza in vreun fel modul in care Apple isi construieste produsele. Desi dispozitivele electronice sunt in general preferate de catre tinerii care au timpul necesar pentru a le exploata cum trebuie, iata ca si persoanele mature isi fac timp pentru a utiliza corespunzator iDevice-urile celor de la Apple.
