Cu doar cateva zile inainte Apple anuntase ca 2 milione de terminale au fost precomandate in doar 24 de ore de la deschiderea sesiunii de precomenzi si analistii preziceau ca aproape 10 milioane de dispozitive urmeaza sa fie vandute in weekend-ul care tocmai s-a terminat. Ei bine printr-un comunicat de presa Apple tocmai a anuntat ca a vandut 5 milioane de terminale iPhone 5, o cifra record pentru companie.
Anul trecut 4 milioane de terminale iPhone 4S s-au vandut in doar un singur weekend, insa anul acesta oamenii au fost mult mai interesati de dispozitiv si in consecinta cifra de vanzari este mai mare. In perioada sarbatorilor ne putem astepta ca Apple sa vanda aproape 40 de milioane de terminale iPhone 5. Pe langa numarul mare de terminale vandute, Apple a anuntat si ca 100 de milioane de utilizatori au facut upgrade la iOS 6 in acest weekend, semn c interesul este mare pentru aceasta versiune a sistemului de operare.

iPhone 5 comes in either white & silver or black & slate, and is available in the US for a suggested retail price of $199 (US) for the 16GB model and $299 (US) for the 32GB model and $399 (US) for the 64GB model. iPhone 5 is available from the Apple Online Store (www.apple.com), Apple’s retail stores, and through AT&T, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, select Best Buy, RadioShack, Target and Walmart stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers. iPhone 4S is also available for just $99 (US) and iPhone 4 is available for free with a two-year contract.***
