Apple inchide iTunes Connect in perioada Craciunului, utilizatorii se bucura!

  Astazi compania Apple a anuntat ca intre 22 si 29 decembrie va inchide sistemul iTunes Connect care permite dezvoltatorilor de aplicatii sa modifice preturile aplicatiilor existente, sau sa introduca aplicatii noi/update-uri in App Store. Cei de la Apple au trimis deocamdata notificarile doar celor care au carti publicate in iTunes BookStore, insa in curand acelasi anunt va ajunge si la dezvoltatorii de aplicatii. Desi suntem abia in luna octombrie, Apple le spune din timp dezvoltatorilor sai sa fie pregatiti pentru acea saptamana, iar pentru noi vestile sunt bune deoarece in general promotiile pentru aplicatii sunt organizate in perioada Craciunului, iar in acele 7 zile veti putea achizitiona multe titluri la pret promotional.

  In acelasi email Apple si-a anuntat dezvoltatorii ca sediul sau va fi inchis intre 17 si 25 noiembrie, in perioada sarbatorii Zilei Recunostintei, iar pentru este o noua versiune buna, deoarece atunci vor fi organizate la fel de multe promotii in App Store. Daca planuiti sa achizitionati ceva din App Store, ar fi bine sa pastrati banii pentru acea perioada, pentru ca probabil orice va doriti voi va fi disponibil la pret redus.

Apple’s corporate offices will be closed for Thanksgiving from Saturday, November 17 to Sunday, November 25 and for the winter holidays from Saturday, December 22 to Monday, January 31.

To accommodate these holiday shutdowns, we are adjusting our deadlines for books launching in the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and the winter holiday.

In addition, iTunes Connect will be temporarily shut down from Friday, December 21 to Friday, December 28, for the winter holidays. During this shutdown, the following functionality will be unavailable:

Access to iTunes Connect.
The validation or delivery of any books or updates.
Additionally, the following will be delayed:
Releases scheduled to appear on the iBookstore for the first time.
Pricing changes scheduled through the interval pricing system in iTunes Connect.
We strongly recommend that you do not schedule any pricing changes in iTunes Connect that would take effect between December 21 and December 28, 2012. Pricing changes scheduled to take effect during this date range will not be reflected on the iBookstore and your book will become unavailable for purchase.

We also recommend that you do not schedule any books to go live during the shutdown. Releases scheduled with a start date between December 21 and December 28, 2012 will not go live on the iBookstore until after the shutdown.
