Multi au spus ca iPhone-ul nu este dorit de chinezi, insa in realitate totul s-a datorat unui nou sistem de precomenzi online implementat de catre Apple acolo. Desi nu s-au format cozi in fata magazinelor Apple, compania a vandut 2 milioane de terminale in 3 zile numai in China. Pe 21 septembrie Apple a vandut 5 milioane de terminale iPhone 5 in peste 10 tari de pe glob, si daca facem o comparatie ne dam seama cat de importanta este pentru Apple piata din China.
Practic Apple a vandut intr-o singura tara cat pentru alte 4, iar asta ne spune foarte clar ca interesul pentru iPhone 5 este la fel de mare precum la lansarea oficiala. Avand in vedere aceste cifre de vanzari, este foarte posibil ca Apple sa anunte comercializarea a peste 40 de milioane de terminale iPhone in trimestrul fiscal al sarbatorilor de iarna.
