Apple s-ar afla in proces de testare a unui televizor cu ecran de 46 – 55 inch

  Tim Cook a dat de inteles ca Apple ar fi interesata sa produca un televizor in viitorul apropiat, iar surse din interiorul companiei care detine Foxconn ar confirma acest plan. Mai mult decat atat, se pare ca Apple ar fi in momentul de fata in proces de testare a unui televizor ce are un ecran de 46 – 55 inch, insa nimeni nu stie cand ar urma sa ajunga produsul pe piata. In momentul de fata televizorul se afla in faza preliminara de testare, Apple testand diversele diagonale si componente hardware care ar urma sa fie implementate in produsele sale.

Taipei, Dec. 19 (CNA) Initial testing of Apple Inc.’s television sets have gotten underway at Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., a source at the Taiwan-based company said. However, the Hon Hai source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the initial phase of tests on the TVs has kicked off. Nevertheless, the source said it is unlikely that shipments of the appliances will begin as soon as the end of next year.  Asked whether the new Apple TV will use display panels produced by Japan’s Sharp Corp., the source said the possibility is not high. According to the source, Apple’s new TVs will need flat panels ranging between 46 inches and 55 inches, which means that Hon Hai will not need to get its supply exclusively from Sharp.

  Avand in vedere faza de testare in care se afla produsul, sursa acestor informatii sustine ca sansele ca televizorul sa fie lansat inaintea anului 2014 sunt mici. Desigur ca nimeni nu stie cum si-a gandit Apple strategia pentru lansarea acestui televizor, deci orice ar fi posibil, inclusiv lansarea mai multor modele de televizoare cu preturi diferite si ecrane de dimensiuni diferite.
