Pentru inceput, aplicatia ofera posibilitatea de a utiliza sistemul Chat Heads care simplifica procesul de interactiune cu anumiti prieteni, aduce un nou tip de emoticoane numite Stickers, schimba design-ul versiunii pentru iPad a aplicatiei in ideea de a il face cat mai similar cu cel al website-ului, iar la final ramane implementarea catorva functii imprumutate din Facebook Home.
