De la sfarsitul lui 2015, razlet, prin locurile cele mai populate,se zaresc instalate semne rutiere pentru a avertiza soferii despre pietonii prea ocupati si preocupati de telefoanele mobile. Jacob Sempler si Emil Tiismann sunt cei care au instalat aceste semne de circulatie in luna noiembrie 2015, cu scopul de a incuraja oamenii sa acorde o atentie ce se petrece in jurul lor:
Smartphones are great. Until you walk straight out into the street and almost get run over cause you can’t stop staring at it. That’s from personal experience. And that was the inspiration behind these lovely signs that we put up across Stockholm.
In timp ce semnele au fost mediatizat pe larg la acea vreme, multi oameni care au intalnit semnul (fie in persoană sau online) nu au fost constienti de originea sa si au crezut ca literalmente este un semn real, instalat de guvernul suedez. Sempler a declarat pentru The Metro intre timp ca aceste semne sunt piese de arta,dar si ca exista in mod clar o necesitate pentru un astfel de avertisment real.
It is great fun that people genuinely think there is a real need for this kind of sign. However, I believe, unfortunately, that those who need to see the sign the would will never ever see it since they’re too busy with their phones.
