Un prototip al iPad 1 apare in imagini

iPad a fost tableta care a revolutionat lumea tabletelor, iar in 2010 cand Apple o prezenta, foarte putina lume ii dadea sanse de reusita, asa cum s-a intamplat si cu iPhone. Ei bine, contrar tuturor criticilor si asteptarilor, iPad a avut succes pentru a adus un mod nou si mai bun de a utiliza un asemenea produs, iar Steve Jobs are o parte din meritul reusitei sale.

Inainte de a lansa iPad pe piata, compania Apple a testat foarte multe prototipuri, iar in imaginile de mai jos vedem unul dintre ele, care a fost folosit de catre inginerii celor din Cupertino. Acest prototip a fost creat la inceputul anului 2010 de catre cei de la Apple si desigur ca inca mai este functional, el ruland fara probleme SwitchBoard, o platforma pentru testarea produselor Apple.

Desigur ca design-ul acestui prototip al iPad este usor diferit fata de produsul final, dar acest lucru este normal, avand in vedere ca a fost folosit doar pentru testare. In general dispozitivele de acest gen sunt vandute doar la colectionari, sau companii care vor sa mai afle din secretele Apple, imaginile de acest gen fiind foarte rare.

The rear shell of the iPad features an odd box-like etching around the Apple logo, along with four cut-outs in the aluminum (revealing the Wi-Fi antenna connections), multiple factory engineering asset tags (identifying the manufacturer of each part), as well as Apple Development Team prototype identification stickers, and two anomalous prototype serial numbers. On the front side of the iPad, the corresponding Development Team ID number is laser engraved into the glass in three places […] The prototype is running a fully functional build of Apple’s internal factory firmware, known as “SwitchBoard.””
