Steve Jobs a fost un om foarte controversat, si foarte multe secrete legate de el au fost tinute ascunse pana cand a murit, si de atunci tot apar diverse informatii neasteptate. Astazi vorbim despre o dezvaluire facuta de catre Walter Isaacson, autorul biografiei autorizate a lui Steve Jobs, ea avand legatura cu presedintele Apple, Tim Cook.
Steve Jobs ar fi afirmat, intr-o discutie privata cu Walter Isaacson, ca Tim Cook poate sa faca orice, dar nu este atat de concentrat pe produsele dezvoltat de Apple. Acest lucru este confirmat si acum, cand diversi angajati spun ca Tim Cook vede unele produse Apple pentru prima oara chiar in cadrul prezentarilor la care participa, deci Steve Jobs avea dreptate.
Steve Jobs era dezamagit de o problema a lui Tim Cook
Steve Jobs a facut aceasta afirmatie despre Tim Cook deoarece zilnic el mergea in laboratorul lui Jony Ive din cadrul Apple pentru a testa produsele. Steve Jobs verifica impreuna cu Jony Ive fiecare produs care era in dezvoltare, testand totul de la cablu si pana la modul in care functionau butoanele, fiind foarte implicat in procesul de dezvoltare.
“I softened it in the book a bit. In my book, Steve says how Tim Cook can do everything, and then he looked at me and said, ‘Tim’s not a product person.’ Every day when Jobs was in the office in Cupertino, he would go at midday to that sort of big locked door that went to the design studio; be brought in and everybody else would be ushered out. And he would talk table to table with Jony. They would feel not just the phone but the plug. The jack, the way the wire coiled. Jobs at his core was a product person.”
Steve Jobs era constient de faptul ca Tim Cook nu era un om care sa aiba o asemenea aplecare asupra dezvoltarii produselor Apple, iar asta a dus si la plecarea lui Jony Ive. Steve Jobs stia totusi ca Tim Cook este un manager foarte bun, iar Apple de asta avea nevoie in urma disparitiei sale, si decizia de a-l face CEO a fost una foarte buna, cel putin pana acum.
