Dupa Google Glass-ul care incepe sa devina din ce in ce mai atractiv pentru utilizatori, cei de la Google au prezentat Talking Shoe la SXSWi, conceptul unui pantof de sport destept. Daca va uitati la clipul video de mai sus veti avea impresia ca totul este o gluma, insa proiectul este real, iar cei de la Google si-au propus sa dezvolte un accesoriu vestimentar cu personalitate care ar partaja pe retelele sociale tot ceea ce se intampla in viata noastra. Totul face parte dintr-un proiect numit Art, Copy, Code, initiat de catre Google in ideea de a transforma obiectele statice din viata de zi cu zi in obiecte care sa comunice cu utilizatorii.
Using an accelerometer, a gyroscope, Bluetooth and some other off the shelf technologies, the Talking Shoe translates the wearer’s movements into funny, motivating and timely commentary. The things it says can be posted to Google+ by the user, sent to real-time ad units, if the user chooses to, and broadcast via onboard speakers. It can talk to the world and to the web. By connecting a pair of sneakers to the web, we’re creating unique opportunities between physical objects and digitalt ad spaces. Every move the user makes generates data that’s captured using an accelerometer, gyroscope and pressure sensors.
Talking Shoe este doar unul dintre proiectele Art, Copy, Code-ului, iar ideea in sine este extrem de interesanta, Google intentionand sa o dezvolte si sa o aduca pe piata. Pantofii destepti sunt conceputi pentru a comunica cu smartphone-urile noastre prin intermediul unei aplicatii web, aceasta generand toate raspunsurile “motivationale” pe care le vedeti in clipul de mai sus. Desi deocamdata unii vor fi cu siguranta circumspecti in legatura cu aceasta idee, Google va reusi sa transforme totul intr-un produs atractiv.
