Conform unei surse din interiorul companiei, zilnic 500.000 de terminale iPhone 5S sunt fabricate pe liniile sale de productie, acesta fiind cel mai mare numar de terminale iPhone produse vreodata de catre Foxconn pentru Apple. Avand putin peste 1 milion de muncitori in toate fabricile sale, asiatitii au angajati persoane suplimentare pentru a-si onora contractele, iar acum peste o treime dintre acestia lucreaza 24 de ore pe zi in mai multe ture pentru a fabrica terminalele Apple, fabricile companiei Foxconn functionand non-stop pentru cei din Cupertino.
Hon Hai, also known by its trade name Foxconn, has boosted production capacity for the iPhone 5S at the expense of the cheaper iPhone 5C as requested by Apple. To get a glimpse of just how complicated it is to manufacture the iPhone 5S, Hon Hai executives said the company has about 600 workers on each iPhone 5S production line to handle assembly work. “We have been churning out about 500,000 iPhone 5Ss everyday, the highest daily output ever,” said the executive who declined to be named.

The executive also said it takes a longer time to assemble an iPhone 5S compared to an iPhone 5C or the previous generation iPhone 5. “For the iPhone 5C or the iPhone 5, we only have 500 workers per production line as the assembly procedure is less complicated,” said the Hon Hai executive. “Although the market had concerns over demand for the new iPhone before its launch, our Zhengzhou site’s production capacity for iPhones has continued to grow over the past two years.”
Practic lunar 15 milioane de terminale iPhone 5S sunt produse doar de catre Foxconn, iar avand in vedere faptul ca ne aflam intr-o luna a cumparaturilor, productiar ar putea creste, ea urmand a fi redusa in ianuarie.
