In urma succesului avut in App Store, Flappy Bird a devenit un nume cunoscut de catre extrem de multi posesori de iDevice-uri sau terminale Android, iar unul dintre ei s-a gandit sa reproduca jocul in viata reala. Dupa cum puteti vedea deja din clipul video de mai sus, vorbim despre o placa de baza Arduino care permite realizarea intregii creatii, jocul avand o functionalitate cel putin la fel de enervanta precum cea gandita de catre dezvoltatorul sau vietnamez.
Because I work with a lot of digital games and apps, I wanted to combine my two interests and make a physical version of the digital game and potentially use the project as a teaching tool for a wider audience. I also love Flappy Bird despite being a terrible player. I was hoping the IRL version would be easier, but I think I made it harder than I wanted to. Though, she’s already doing better on the IRL version than the mobile game, with a personal best of somewhere in the twenties.
Ca sa fiu sincer, cred ca o companie desteapta ar fi putut produce zeci de milioane de dolari cu acest joc, insa in ciuda faptului ca el nu mai este disponibil, va ramane cu siguranta in istorie ca unul dintre cele mai mari “hit-uri” ale App Store sau Google Play.
