Apple Pay este primul sistem de plati mobile lansat de catre compania Apple pentru utilizatorii de iPhone 6 si iPhone 6 Plus, el fiind deocamdata utilizabil numai in SUA, dar cei din Cupertino intentioneaza sa ii extinda disponibilitatea. O oferta de munca descoperita pe versiunea britanica a website-ului Apple indica faptul ca in momentul de fata compania cauta sa angajeze oameni care vor forma o echipa ce va aduce Apple Pay in Europa, Orientul Mijlociu, India si Asia in perioada urmatoare.
Angajatii din Marea Britanie vor trebui sa incheie contracte intre Apple si partenerii sai care vor oferi posibilitatea de a efectua plati sau de a primi plati prin Apple Pay, deci vorbim despre un proces de durata care nu va aduce sistemul foarte curand in multe tari. Chiar si asa, intentiile celor de la Apple de a extinde disponibilitatea Apple Pay dezvaluie faptul ca sistemul are succes si ca Apple incearca sa il puna la dispozitia unui numar cat mai mare de utilizatori cat se poate de repede.
Din pacate nu se stie cand sau daca Apple Pay va ajunge si in Romania, insa americanii pot face deja plati aici folosind acest sistem daca au un card bancar american si gasesc un POS care accepta plati wireless.

The new London-based Apple Pay team will work to drive the roll-out of this technology across EMEIA by working with a variety of internal and external partners, including teams in the US where the product will first launch and the EMEIA organisation, as well as Issuers, payment networks and merchants across Europe. To accompany us on this journey, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic and energetic support Intern to help us drive our business development activities, specifically to support execution of multiple NDAs and contracts with third party partners. Provide administrative support to the EMEIA Apple Pay team for business development and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate should have some experience in managing signature of NDAs and project management of large contractual negotiations with third parties
