Un american si-a pierdut tableta iPad iarna aceasta si a reusit sa o redescopere dupa ce zapada din preajma locatiei in care ea a fost pierduta a fost data la o parte, tableta refuzand sa-si mai afiseze locatia in Find My iPhone la 24 de ore dupa pierdere, atunci sesizand si proprietarul ca ea a fost pierduta de catre copiii sai.
Tableta fusese ingropata in zapada in curtea casei in care locuieste americanul si a fost descoperita in carcasa sa, insa aceasta era inghetata complet si a trebuit taiata pentru a putea fi recuperata de catre proprietar, actiunea neavand vreun efect asupra produsului Apple.
Partea interesanta este ca desit tableta a fost ingropata in zapada din decembrie si pana acum, ea a pornit fara probleme dupa cateva ore petrecute in caldura, singurele defecte vizibile fiind in partea de jos a ecranului unde exista putin condens sub ecran.
Tabletele iPad sunt in general recunoscute pentru faptul ca sunt gandite pentru a functiona ani intregi si sunt rezistente, iar aceasta poveste demonstreaza din nou cat de fiabile sunt tabletele iPad produse de catre compania Apple, chiar si in conditii extreme.
My kids lost my iPad last December. By the time I realized it was missing the battery had died and find my iPad didn’t report its location because it’s been over 24 hours (a limitation I think Apple should remove). This morning my youngest son wanted to play outside in the snow and this is what we happened upon inside the kids’ playhouse, the case literally frozen to the ground that I had to cut off the flap. There’s some minor condensation under the digitizer on the right side, but otherwise fully functional. Wondering if I should bother removing the digitizer to get that cleared up. Kinda counting my blessings and don’t want to make it worse.
