Astazi cei de la Digitimes au anuntat ca partenerul Apple Pegatron a primit o comanda pentru 15 milioane de terminale iPhone 5 care urmeaza sa fie livrate in luna septembrie a acestui an. Surse din interiorul Pegatron sustin ca update-ul fata de iPhone 4 este minor deci probabil vom avea parte de un terminal iPhone 4S cu hardware mai bun si nici o schimbare de ordin estetic. Data de livrare a acestor noi terminale este luna septembrie cand se prezuma ca Apple va tine o conferinta in care va prezenta iOS 5 si noul terminal iPhone.

Se presupune ca iPhone 4S/5 va avea un procesor A5 dual-core precum in iPad 2, ecran de 3.5 inch, iOS 5, chip grafic la fel de puternic precum iPad 2, camera de 5/8 megapixeli si cam atat. Practic noul iPhone ar putea fi un fel de iPhone 3GS, adica mai multa putere “sub capota” si nici o schimbare in exterior.
