DIGI RCS & RDS Publish Official Guide IMPORTANT Millions of Romanians

DIGI RCS & RDS, by far the largest Romanian telecommunications group, decided to publish a special guide for the millions of Romanians who are interested in porting, for all those who want to keep their mobile phone number when changing operators. From now on, porting can be done simply and quickly, directly on the DIGI website.

DIGI RCS & RDS says that porting to DIGI is done exclusively by subscription, so the first step is to choose the package that suits you best. When you complete the online order, make sure you check the shipping option. For the registration process, you will need a customer code and an invoice from the current operator. If you are not already a DIGI customer, also prepare a picture with the bulletin.

For subscriptions, DIGI only requests the basic information – the SIM card series and a picture of your ticket (if you are not yet a DIGI subscriber). Also, keep the customer code and invoice from the current operator handy, to avoid any blockage. Simple, no hassle!

DIGI RCS & RDS states that after you have placed your order online, in a few days you will receive your new DIGI SIM card by the chosen delivery method. This will have a temporary phone number, which you will use until the porting process is completed. Important: keep the card from the current operator until the porting is confirmed.

You will be notified by phone call or SMS before the date and time slot scheduled for porting. During that interval, the telephone service will be interrupted for a maximum of three hours, during which you will not be able to initiate or receive calls. Porting is usually completed in approximately three working days, but you can request a later date, within a maximum of 25 days from submitting the request, by contacting the current operator.

You will receive a confirmation SMS when the porting has been completed. From that moment, the SIM card of the former operator will no longer be functional, and your ported number will be active on the DIGI SIM card. If you entered incorrect data during the order, a DIGI representative will contact you to correct them.

DIGI RCS & RDS states that there is no need to change your number when switching to DIGI. Porting does not involve additional costs, neither from the former operator (except for contractual obligations), nor from DIGI RCS & RDS. You enjoy quality and affordable services, with a minimum interruption of the telephone service (no more than three hours on the porter's day).

Once the porting request is completed, the previous contract is closed, and you officially become a DIGI customer. Through this good porting guide, DIGI RCS & RDS wants to simplify the process and offer customers a pleasant and easy experience when changing operators. For more information about phone number porting and available subscriptions, visit the official DIGI website.
