Volodymyr Zelensky: BREAKING NEWS ON Donald Trump and the End of the War in Ukraine

Volodymyr Zelensky BREAKING NEWS Donald Trump End of the War Ukraine

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, marked a historic moment for the Baltic region and for the whole of Europe: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia disconnected from the Russian energy grid and fully synchronized with the continental European system. According to Zelensky, this measure eliminates Moscow's energy influence over the three Baltic states, marking significant progress towards European energy independence.

Volodymyr Zelensky He compared the Baltic states' decision to Ukraine's own move, which managed to break away from the Russian grid as early as 2022. The president stressed that, with this new step, Europe becomes "even more coherent" and reduces its dependence on Russian resources. He also mentioned that this direction is essential for other Central European countries that still have energy agreements with Moscow.

"The less Europeans are dependent on Russia, the sooner we can ensure reliable security for everyone in Europe," Zelensky said. The Ukrainian leader especially congratulated Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, emphasizing that Poland has an important supporting role in achieving energy interconnections and strengthening regional resilience.

To support the independence efforts, Zelensky encouraged the development of closer partnerships with the United States, especially in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and oil, as well as with countries in the European Union's neighborhood, the Caucasus, the Middle East and North Africa. "We need to work more closely with these partners, because together we can provide the necessary energy resources and strengthen the stability of the region," the president said.

In an interview with Britain's ITV News, Zelensky discussed former US President Donald Trump's efforts to end the war, but insisted on the importance of "strong" security guarantees for Ukraine. The Kiev leader explained that these guarantees are vital for the safe return of the eight million Ukrainians who have fled the country.

"People must return in peace, with the certainty that tomorrow there will be no new occupation of our territory," Zelensky stressed. He added that these guarantees entail not only military support, but also economic assistance and help in the reconstruction of everyday life in Ukraine.

Zelensky insisted that the current top priority is to establish a "just and lasting peace," but that to achieve this goal, it is first necessary to strengthen defense means and security guarantees. Only under these conditions can talks on ending the active phase of the war move forward effectively.

"We are not just talking about justice for ourselves, but about how to end the bloodshed, so that millions of people can return to their lives," the president said, emphasizing that any realistic solution for peace must provide security for both Ukraine and Europe as a whole.

With these statements, Volodymyr Zelensky once again shows Ukraine's determination to preserve its sovereignty and strengthen international partnerships. The new stage of the Baltic states in the energy field represents a strong signal of European unity, and the next steps, according to the leader from Kiev, will focus on expanding and deepening cooperation, with the aim of achieving energy independence and lasting stability on the European continent.
