Instant Lab este un nou produs dedicat posesorilor de iDevice-uri, iar cu ajutorul sau puteti printa poze din terminal in doar cateva secunde. Produsul preia conceptul celebrelor aparate Polaroid care imprimau pozele imediat dupa ce utilizatorul le facea, versiunea disponibila acum fiind mult mai interesanta. Instant Lab are o aplicatie speciala pentru iDevice-uri, ea fiind necesara pentru a printa pozele, insa partea interesanta este ca voi nu transferati pozele din iPhone in aparat, ci aparatul fotografiaza ecranul vostru si printeaza poza in baza sa.
The Impossible Instant Lab is designed to transform any digital image via your iPhone into an instant photo that is exposed using only the light from the display, then processed and developed by chemicals. Just select an image from the Instant Lab app, place the iPhone in the cradle and slide open the shutter on the base. A signal tells you when the exposure is finished. Close the shutter, push the button and the Instant Lab ejects your photo, ready to develop in the palm of your hand.
Procesul in sine nu este complicat, insa metoda de inregistrare a pozelor duce la o pierdere a calitatii initiale avand in vedere ca poza reala este de fapt o reinregistrare a celei facute cu terminalul vostru. Un alt punct slab este rezolutia pozei deoarece aparatul, ca si restul celor Polaroid, poate scoate pozele doar intr-un anumit format, deci restul pozelor vor trebui imprimate separat. Chiar si asa, Instant Lab este un produs interesant, ar putea fi finantat prin intermediul KickStarter, insa deocamdata este departe de asa ceva.
