PhotosLive este un tweak lansat in cursul zilei de ieri in Cydia pentru iPhone-urile care ruleaza iOS 8, el fiind gandit special pentru a aduce in acestea functia Live Photos pe care compania Apple a lansat-o exclusiv pentru iPhone 6S si iPhone 6S Plus incepand de vineri.
Spre deosebire de functia Live Photos creata de catre compania Apple, PhotosLive inregistreaza poze JPEG animate care pot fi transferate oriunde si oricand fara a isi pierde caracteristicile, ele putand fi exportate ca si imagini GIF pe care le putem publica oriunde in format animat, lucru imposibil cu Live Photos-ul celor de la Apple.
Separat de inregistrarea de poze animate similare Live Photos, tweak-ul PhotosLive are si flash pentru camera frontala, permite inregistrarea de poze folosind filtre, este integrat nativ in aplicatia Camera, permite setarea acestor imagini ca si wallpaper-uri animate si permite setarea duratei de inregistrare/animare a pozelor.

PhotosLive este gandit in asa fel incat arata si functioneaza ca si cum ra fi integrat direct in iOS 8, anima pozele la atingere, insa el trebuie instalat pe toate terminalele pe care dorim sa vedem pozele, altfel acestea nu vor fi animate decat daca le exportam in prealabil ca si GIF-uri.
